Acer’s Asian operations recorded double-digit revenue growth across Altos Computing, Acerpure and Highpoint Service Network in the first half of 2026, with AI server demand emerging as a major driver of expansion.
Quick Skim
Altos Computing is seeing particularly strong orders for AI infrastructure, prompting Acer’s President of Pan-Asia Pacific Operations Andrew Hou to say the business will need to double its workforce to keep pace with customer demand.
AI Server Orders Drive Altos Expansion
Altos has become one of the strongest growth areas within Acer’s diversified business as enterprises and institutions increase spending on AI computing infrastructure.
The company recorded record revenue for June, the second quarter and the first half of 2026, supported by demand for AI infrastructure across education and enterprise markets.
The rise in orders is now translating into additional workforce requirements as Altos prepares to support a larger pipeline of AI server deployments across Asia-Pacific.
Enterprise AI Push Expands Across APAC
Altos has been broadening its regional AI infrastructure business during 2026.
In June, the company signed an agreement with Vietnam-based FPT to jointly deploy and commercialise enterprise AI and high-performance computing solutions across Asia-Pacific.
The company has also been targeting South Korea’s AI server market with systems based on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, reflecting growing demand for high-performance computing across the region.
The expansion shows how the AI investment cycle is moving beyond hyperscale cloud companies and into enterprise, education and institutional computing.
Highpoint Expands Regional Service Business
Acer’s Highpoint Service Network also reported record revenue for both the second quarter and first half of 2026 as its Asia-Pacific operations expanded.
Highpoint provides repair, maintenance and value-added IT services and has operations across markets including Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Acer’s corporate disclosures also identify the business as one of the group’s listed subsidiaries.
The company has additionally launched operations in India, extending Acer’s service footprint as its hardware and enterprise businesses grow across the region.
Acerpure Adds to Diversified Growth
Acerpure, Acer’s smart-living subsidiary, was the third business highlighted for double-digit first-half revenue growth.
The company develops smart-living products, forming part of Acer’s strategy to expand beyond its traditional PC business into a wider portfolio of technology and service operations.
The performance of Altos, Acerpure and Highpoint shows how Acer’s Asia growth is increasingly being spread across computing infrastructure, services and adjacent technology businesses.
AI Infrastructure Becomes Key Growth Engine
Among the three businesses, Altos provides the clearest link to the current AI investment cycle.
Demand for AI servers and high-performance computing is increasing infrastructure requirements across enterprises, research institutions and data centres throughout Asia-Pacific.
For Acer, that trend is creating growth beyond consumer PCs and pushing the group to scale both technical capacity and workforce resources around AI infrastructure.
The first-half performance of its Asian subsidiaries suggests that AI-related computing and regional diversification are becoming increasingly important to Acer’s growth strategy.
